Alexander Coronel.

I am a Venezuelan architect with over 20 years of experience in architectural design and project management. Born in Barquisimeto, I graduated from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at Universidad Central de Venezuela in December 2005.

Throughout my career, I have held prominent roles in architectural firms, including Project Architect at TAU Taller de Arquitectura y Urbanismo (2001–2005), Project Manager and Partner at M2 Arquitectos (2005–2007), and Design Director at UM Design Studio (2007–2024). My innovative residential projects have garnered international recognition, including the Best Residential Project award at the 2019 Architecture Biennale of Venezuela for my Residential Project L’Aquila Residences in Aruba Island, and an Honorable Mention for Coral House in Morocoy, Venezuela. During these years, I have developed residential, commercial, industrial, corporate image, naval, and research projects. In my most recent studies, I have experimented with conceptual projects, and to pursue this interest, I furthered my expertise in Space Architecture and Design at the School of Disruption in 2021.

As a versatile professional, I excel at leading teams and managing multidisciplinary projects under pressure. I am proficient in industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and SketchUp, and I am fluent in Spanish, English, and Italian.

My passion for architectural education is evident in my experience as an instructor at Universidad Central de Venezuela.

With a career defined by innovation and excellence, I bring a fresh perspective and a global vision to the architectural world.
